Endlich ist es (fast) soweit: Sofia Coppolas neuer Film Somewhere startet am 11. November in den deutschen Kinos. Der Film erzählt die Geschichte des italoamerikanischen Schauspielers Johnny Marco (Stephen Dorff), der in einer Suite des berühmten Hotels Chateau Marmont am Sunset Boulevard lebt. Er lässt Poletänzerinnen auf sein Zimmer kommen und hat bei jeder Gelegenheit Sex – bis er plötzlich auf seine elfjährige Tochter Cleo (Elle Fanning) aufpassen soll. Je mehr Zeit er mit ihr verbingt desto mehr wird ihm bewusst, dass ihn das Leben, das er führt, nicht ausfüllt.
Am 11. September gewann Somewhere beim 67. Venice International Film Festival den goldenen Löwen in der Kategorie „Best Picture“. Bereits im Trailer darf man sich die herrliche Musik von Phoenix anhören. Viel Spaß!
